“Think 'Randy Travis' with a soulful twist.”
bio
As heard on WSM 650 AM (radio home of the Grand Ole Opry), Justen Harden’s soulful baritone voice pairs well with his warm personality.
Born and raised in Brunswick, Georgia, Justen first discovered music through radio as a kid. As he grew, so did his appreciation for country music.
His nearly religious viewing of CMT’s Country Countdown led him to become a fan of artists like Josh Turner, Toby Keith, and Brad Paisley. Inspired by their ability, Harden began learning to play the guitar at 10 years old.
It wasn’t until eight years later that he began to pursue a career as a singer-songwriter, himself. In doing so, Harden knew that country music was the path he wanted to venture down. It contained songs about real life, sang by people who lived what they sang about.
Contestant on Season Nine of NBC’s “The Voice” and champion of WJXT Jacksonville’s first “Oh Say Can You Sing” competition, Justen first made a name for himself on the Vine app – amassing over 11 million loops and building hundreds of thousands of followers in the process.
Throughout his performing career, Harden has opened for country artists Justin Moore, Luke Combs, Craig Campbell, Thomas Rhett, Dierks Bentley, and more.
Currently, Harden resides in Nashville, TENNESSEe, where he writes and performs - while continuing to travel and play around the U.S.
His original songs are available anywhere you can download, stream or purchase music. They have been trending on Apple Music’s “Hot Tracks,” featured on New Country Brew, and have been streamed nearly a third of a million times.
His LATEST single WAS releaseD in the fall of 2018.
